GERHARD

We live in a smallish log cabin, open windows, wool carpet, pantry (full of all sorts of bird seeds, grains, flour &c.)  For several years now I have noticed these little fluttering moths, which are wonderful aviators because the moment you thought you caught one, you would be empti-handed, only to find out that the moth radar was faster than your eye.  You would look for the moth on the ground, but the camouflage being so good, the moth was safe.

Endless reminders of moth infestation left us with the unhappy moth reminders in the form of spidery-webbed granola in your bowl, or pin-holed collar in your favourite sweater.

I was told by a friend of another friend, that she had pheronome traps.  She kindly gave me one of each, a clothing, as well as a pantry trap.  Both were a great success.  The traps ended up being 'populated' by a large number of male moths, permanently captured by the sticky coating of the luring traps.

This success gave me the impetus to acquire a stock of these moth traps for personal use.  The pantry is, once again, cleared of the male moth population. The clothing moths must have been decimated last year, as there is no 'early_warning_sign' in those traps.
